Director General Sports Punjab Dr Asif Tufail greets newly-elected SJAL office-bearers
LAHORE (March 7, 2024): Director General Sports Punjab Dr Asif Tufail congratulated the newly-elected office-bearers of Sports Journalists Association of Lahore (SJAL) on Thursday.
It is pertinent to mention here that senior sports reporters Aqeel Ahmed, Yousaf Anjum and Afzal Iftikhar were elected unopposed as SJAL President, Secretary and Treasurer respectively during SJAL’s General Council meeting held at National Hockey Stadium.
In a felicitation message Director General Sports Punjab Dr Asif Tufail said that sports journalists have always played a key role for the promotion of sports. “SJAL is rendering remarkable services for the coverage of different sports events in Lahore”.
Director General Sports Punjab Dr Asif Tufail expressed his hope that Sports Board Punjab and SJAL will continue to work together for the promotion and development of sports culture in future.
