Pakistan lost the first Test against England by an innings of .47 runs

England defeated Pakistan by an innings and 47 runs in the first Test match of the series played in Multan. On the fourth day of the first Test of the three-match series being played in Multan,

Pakistan resumed their incomplete first innings with 152 runs and 6 out, needing 116 more runs to avoid an innings defeat. Seventh wicket last day. Aamir Jamal and Agha Salman, who added 69 runs for,

opened the batting again and soon Salman completed his half-century. Agha Salman batted confidently and put on 109 runs for the seventh wicket with Aamir Jamal,
