PFF deeply saddened over demise of former President Mian Muhammad Azhar

Lahore: The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) expresses its deepest condolences on the passing of former PFF President Mian Muhammad Azhar, who passed away at the age of 83 after a prolonged illness.

Mian Muhammad Azhar served as President of the Pakistan Football Federation from 1990 until 2003.

PFF President Syed Mohsen Gilani expressed grief over the loss, “Mian Muhammad Azhar was not just a leader; he was a true patron of football in Pakistan. His vision and dedication helped lay the foundation for many of the strides the sport has made in our country. We are deeply saddened by his loss and stand with his family during this difficult time.”

Acting General Secretary Muhammad Shahid Niaz Khokhar also paid tribute by saying “His contributions to the Pakistan Football Federation and to the game of football will always be remembered. He was a guiding force for the sport, he added.
