To earn a coveted ticket to the World Cup preparatory camp, players must secure a minimum score of 3 out of 5 in at least three of these five categories. Anyone falling short of this baseline will be automatically disqualified from selection, regardless of seniority or past reputation.
In what is being hailed as a major step toward absolute accountability, the PHF is pairing human observation with cutting-edge technology. For the first time, backroom politics and subjective bias will be countered with hard empirical evidence.
The coaching staff will back up every rating with: Wearable GPS Tracking Data: Monitoring real-time work rate, top speeds, distance covered, and physical exertion levels. High-Definition Video Analytics: Breaking down technical errors and tactical positioning to provide undeniable visual proof of a player’s form.
This revolutionary proposal is currently on its way to the PHF Selection Committee and the President of the federation for final executive approval.
