By Nawaz Gohar ; Home favorites Pakistan continued their ruthless form on Day Two of the ZONG 5G Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) Men’s Volleyball Championship 2026, delivering a clinical straight-sets victory over Bangladesh at the packed Liaquat Gymnasium, Pakistan Sports Complex.
The 3–0 sweeping performance headline a sensational day of international volleyball in the federal capital, which also featured two grueling, five-set marathons between regional powerhouses.
Looking every bit the tournament favorites, the Green Shirts dominated Bangladesh from the opening whistle with aggressive tactical serving, impenetrable blocking, and seamless defensive coverage.Pakistan claimed the first two sets in commanding fashion (25–16, 25–17) before Bangladesh mounted stiff resistance in the third set.
However, the host side stayed composed under pressure to seal the final frame 25–22, securing their second consecutive victory following their opening-day triumph against Sri Lanka.
