Haroon Malik represents Pakistan at FIFA Extraordinary Congress 2024

Haroon Malik, Chairman of the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) Normalisation Committee, participated in the FIFA Extraordinary Congress 2024, which was held virtually via a Zoom session.
The Congress began with the official roll call and declaration of compliance with FIFA statutes, followed by the appointment of scrutineers and member associations to review the minutes. Key matters, including the suspension or expulsion of member associations, were also addressed during the session.
A highlight of the Congress was FIFA President Gianni Infantino’s announcement that Saudi Arabia has been awarded the hosting rights for the FIFA World Cup 2034.
On behalf of Pakistan, Haroon Malik expressed heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to his Saudi counterpart, Mr. Yasser Al Misehal, on securing the 2034 FIFA World Cup bid.
