Pashto commentary introduced for the first time in PSL 11 Playoffs

By Nawaz Gohar ;  In what is being hailed as a landmark development in the league’s history, the Pakistan Super League (HBL PSL 11) has decided to introduce Pashto language commentary for the first time. This initiative aims to further expand the sport’s reach and engage diverse linguistic communities across the country.

According to reports from credible cricketing sources, this new venture is being launched in collaboration with Peshawar Zalmi. Under this arrangement, Pashto commentary will be broadcast on a dedicated digital platform for the team’s remaining matches, allowing fans in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and other Pashto-speaking regions to enjoy the action in their native language.

On the field, the tournament has reached a critical juncture. Peshawar Zalmi is set to face Islamabad United in the Qualifier tomorrow. A victory will secure them a direct path to the final, while a defeat would relegate them to the Eliminator round for a second chance. The grand finale of the tournament is scheduled for May 3 at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, with excitement reaching fever pitch among fans.

In another major development for cricket enthusiasts, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has granted permission for spectators to attend the play-off matches in the stadium.

Federal Interior Minister and PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi shared this news via social media following a meeting with the Prime Minister, confirming that fans can now experience the thrill of the matches live from the stands.
