PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi vows foolproof security for Sri Lankan team

Rawalpindi : Nawaz Gohar Federal Interior Minister and Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Mohsin Naqvi visited the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium to review security arrangements during the ongoing match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

During his visit, Naqvi was briefed by officials from the police, Rangers, district administration, and other law enforcement agencies regarding the comprehensive security plan in place.

He emphasized that the Sri Lankan cricket team has been accorded the status of state guests, and that no compromise would be made on their security.

Naqvi stated that the government is taking robust measures to promote peace, stability, and positive activities such as sports across the country. Expressing satisfaction over the arrangements at the stadium,

the PCB Chairman directed the concerned authorities to ensure full implementation of all security protocols to provide a safe and comfortable environment for both players and spectators.
