ISLAMABAD : By Nawaz Gohar ; Shoaib Khan Zehri is set to write a new chapter in Pakistan’s sporting history as he becomes the first Pakistani boxer to qualify for the UBO Super Lightweight World Title Championship.
The landmark bout is scheduled for 20 December in Istanbul, Turkey, where Zehri will face tough Indian opponent Jatinder Thakur in a highly anticipated showdown.
Zehri is currently undergoing intensive training in Islamabad, leaving no stone unturned in preparation for the world title challenge. His regimen includes specialised coaching, strength conditioning and strategic sparring sessions designed to elevate his performance to the global stage.
