Pakistan defeated Sri Lanka in the final of the T20 World Cup 2024 to become the champions of the event.
Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Mohsin Naqvi while congratulating the deaf cricket team for winning the World Cup said that the players of Pakistan deaf cricket team performed brilliantly in the final.
He said that the players defeated Sri Lanka in the final with teamwork and hard work. The Def T20 World Cup was played in Sharjah from March 6 to 12
The Pakistan Deaf cricket team, which remained undefeated in the tournament, defeated Sri Lanka by 100 runs in the final.
Pakistan team scored 162 runs for the loss of six wickets in the allotted overs. Chasing the target, the Sri Lankan team collapsed for 62 runs.
The Deaf T20 World Cup was played from March 6 to 12 in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. Six teams Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, South Africa and Australia participated in the event.
