HEC wins one gold, 2 silver, bronze medals in first day competitions of National Games
KARACHI: The HEC (Higher Education Commission) players have grabbed gold, silver and bronze medals on the first day competitions of the National Games 2025 held at the national couching center and other sports venues.
HEC fencing player Abdul Musawir has won gold medal by defeating Baluchistan in Apee individual category. In Under 30 women pair poomsae HECโs won silver medal while HEC grabbed a bronze medal in under 20 poomsae.
In Judo open weight HEC player Shamas Ahmad grabbed silver medal. Women Air pistol 10 M Bronze Medal also win by HEC.
Also, HEC boxer Arabaz Khan Sunday won pre quarter fight in – 55 kg category against NAVY. While, in pre quarter fight- 50 kg HEC boxer defeated KPK.
Additionally, in First Pre Quarter, HEC Badminton women team won by defeating Balochistan.
HEC Chairman Nadeem Mehboob, Executive Director Dr Zia ul Haq and In-charge Sports Rizwan Shaukat have felicitated winning players, team managers and coaches.
HEC is participating in National Games with a total of 325 plus athletes and 90 officials.
