The victory marks Pakistan’s first-ever Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) medal on the continental stage and officially opens the medal count for the entire national delegation.
Making its inaugural appearance in the MMA discipline at the Asian Games, the Pakistan squad capitalized on its debut, converting its very first entry into a historic podium finish.

Technical Representation: Senior Pakistani official Abu Hurrara was selected by the Asian Mixed Martial Arts Association (AMMA) as one of the elite referees for the Games, officiating matches at the highest level.
Institutional Support: The federation expressed gratitude to Pakistan Olympic Association (POA) President Mohammad Arif Saeed, Secretary General Mohammad Khalid Mahmood, and the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) for facilitating the squad’s participation.
