By Nawaz Gohar ;  Pakistani cricket team all-rounder Imad Wasim’s wife, Sania Ashfaq, has shared a detailed statement addressing the dispute in her married life, stating that matters between her and Imad worsened significantly when a third person entered their lives. According to Sania, this development deepened the rift between them and disturbed the peace of their home.

Responding to Imad Wasim’s statement on social media, Sania Ashfaq said that she possesses documentary evidence related to every aspect of the matter. She warned that those threatening her to refrain from making the evidence public would be dealt with through legal means, adding that she would not accept any form of blackmail or pressure.

Sania clarified that she is not speaking out for revenge but to protect her own rights and those of her children. She said she wants to become a voice for women who are silenced by society despite facing injustice and lack the courage to speak up. Telling the truth, she added, is a difficult but necessary step for her.

In an emotional statement, she said her home had been destroyed and her children were deprived of their father’s love and attention. She revealed that her five-year-old child has never experienced his father’s embrace, calling it the greatest pain and suffering of her life. She said it is unbearable for a mother to see her children in such a state.

Sania Ashfaq further stated that although there were challenges during the marriage, she made every possible effort to save the relationship. As a wife and mother, she said, she chose patience, tolerance, and compromise to protect the family, but circumstances deteriorated to the point where saving the relationship became impossible.

She alleged that the situation worsened when a woman, who wished to marry her husband, began interfering in their marital life, claiming that this third person became the main cause of bitterness and distance between them.

Sania added that for the sake of her children’s future and the family’s dignity, she endured mental distress and harsh behavior for a long time. Addressing those advising her to remain silent, she said justice would prevail and the truth cannot be suppressed.

Earlier, Imad Wasim had issued a statement regarding his marital life, saying that after much deliberation he decided to approach the court for divorce. He stated that disagreements between him and his wife had persisted for several years and could not be resolved, and appealed to the public to respect their privacy and avoid baseless speculation
