Shaheen Afridi hosts Iftar dinner for Lahore Qalandars squad at Islamabad residence
ISLAMABAD: Shaheen Shah Afridi, captain of the Lahore Qalandars, hosted an Iftar dinner at his residence in Islamabad for his teammates and franchise officials.
The gathering was attended by the owner of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise, Sameen Rana, along with the team’s local players. Adding an international flair to the evening, Zimbabwe’s premier all-rounder Sikandar Raza and several members of the team’s management also graced the occasion.
The dinner followed the conclusion of Lahore Qalandars’ three-day conditioning camp held in the federal capital. While the camp aimed to sharpen the players’ fitness and skills, the final day of training was unfortunately washed out due to heavy rainfall in Islamabad.
According to the team’s schedule, the members of the Lahore Qalandars squad are set to reunite in Lahore on March 23 to continue their preparations for upcoming assignments.
