Around 250 Male and Female Athletes Display Outstanding Talent at Hayatabad Sports Complex

PESHAWAR: The 17th ITF Taekwondo Belt Promotion Test and Championship concluded successfully in Peshawar, attracting around 250 male and female athletes who showcased remarkable talent, discipline, and competitive spirit during the event.

The championship was held at the Hayatabad Sports Complex, where young athletes delivered impressive performances in various categories,

earning appreciation from spectators and officials alike. The event highlighted the growing popularity and emerging talent of ITF Taekwondo in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Competitions were conducted across different age groups and weight categories, with participants demonstrating excellent technical skills, fitness, and sportsmanship.

The Belt Promotion Test was also organized alongside the championship, providing players an opportunity to qualify for higher ranks through their performance and technical abilities.

The closing ceremony was attended by Chief Guests, General Secretary of the Federal Youth Parliament Mr. Saqib Ali, Senior Member Federal Youth Parliament Mr. Hujjat Ullah, and Vice Principal Pakturk Maarif Schoool who distributed certificates and awards among the successful athletes.

Speaking on the occasion, they praised the organizers for arranging a well-managed sporting event and emphasized the importance of sports in promoting positive activities among youth.

Chairman of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa ITF Taekwondo Association, Mr. Naveed Habibi, along with coaches and officials, expressed their commitment to organizing more such events in the future to promote Taekwondo across the province and provide emerging athletes with opportunities to polish their skills at competitive platforms.

The successful organization of the championship reflected the increasing enthusiasm for martial arts in the province and the dedication of local sports bodies towards nurturing young talent.
