The 43-year-old maestro, known for his incredible longevity and fitness, took to social media to share his decision, bringing a decorated 10-year journey in the league to an end.
Malik expressed deep gratitude for the decade he spent within the PSL ecosystem, noting that the friendships forged and the memories created on and off the field remain his most cherished achievements. “I will always remember every moment spent during the PSL,” Malik shared.

Over the course of 10 seasons, he represented a record four franchises: Karachi Kings, Multan Sultans, Peshawar Zalmi, and Quetta Gladiators.
