Sindh Games in October this year

Karachi:Sindh Games Association has announced to hold Sindh Games in the province in October this year.

The colorful opening ceremony of the Games will be held in Karachi while the closing ceremony will be held in Larkana. This decision was taken at the meeting of Sindh Games Association held yesterday.

The meeting was presided over by Sindh Games Association President Mudassir Razzaq Arain. After the meeting, Sindh Games Association President Mudassar Razzaq Arain told the media that Sindh Games Association has decided to hold Sindh Games in October this year.

The Games will feature 25 men’s and 20 women’s games in six major cities of the province, including Karachi, Larkana, Benazirabad, Mirpur Khas, Sukkur and Hyderabad.

He said that five sports competitions would be held in each city. Mudassar Arain said that a cash award ceremony was also planned to encourage the players who had secured positions in the last Sindh Games.

He said that a meeting regarding the preparations for the Sindh Games would be held in Karachi next week in which the presidents of the Sindh Games Divisional Associations would be present. And the secretaries have been invited
