NEW DELHI: Afghanistan teen cricketer Baheer Shah has achieved an exceptional feat which no other batsman in the history has managed to do. The 18-year-old Shah amassed 1,096 runs from seven matches and 12 innings with whopping average of 121.77, bettering Australian legend Sir Don Bradman’s average of 95.14 in First Class cricket, the highest for cricketers with more than 1,000 runs. Shah had a stellar debut for Speen Ghar Region, making an unbeaten 256 against Amo Region which is also the second highest score in the history of First Class cricket after former Indian cricketer Amol Muzumdar’s 260. He already has five centuries and two half-centuries to his credit in a short career of one year and two months.
