Ravi Cup Asian Junior Tour U-12: Faizan, Daniyal, Aayan and Ibraheem advance
LAHORE: Exciting tennis action continued at the Ravi Cup ATF Asian Junior Tour U-12 2026, with promising young players battling for places in the next rounds at the Sports Board Punjab Tennis Academy, Nishtar Park Sports Complex, Lahore.
Organised under the auspices of the Punjab Lawn Tennis Association (PLTA), the tournament is providing a competitive platform for young tennis players to showcase their skills and gain valuable international junior-level experience.
The day’s action featured boys’ U-12 singles quarterfinals, along with boys’ and girls’ U-12 doubles semifinals, producing several closely contested encounters.
In the boys’ U-12 singles quarterfinals, M Faizan produced a composed performance to defeat M Salaar 7-5, 6-2 and book his place in the semifinals. In another competitive encounter, M Daniyal overcame Mustafa Uzair Rana 6-3, 4-6, 6-1 after a three-set battle.
M Aayan of Fatima Group advanced with a convincing 6-2, 6-2 victory over Daniyal Abdullah. Completing the singles semifinal lineup, M Ibraheem Hussain Gill defeated Ibrahim Leghari 6-1, 6-2.
In the boys’ U-12 doubles semifinals, the pairing of M. Ibraheem Hussain Gill and M. Aayan secured a dominant 6-0, 6-1 victory over Hashir Mustafa and Ali Bukhari. In the other semifinal, Mustafa Uzair Rana and Daniyal Abdullah defeated Behroze Maimoon Wander and Majid Ali Bachani 6-2, 6-4 to advance.
The Girls’ U-12 doubles competition also witnessed strong performances from the young competitors. Amalia Aidrus and Zara Aidrus defeated Wajeeha Fatima and Umm-e-Aiman 6-1, 6-2 to secure their place in the final.
Meanwhile, Shahnoor Umer and Shahreen Umer overcame Dua Qureshi and Eman Shabaz 6-3, 6-3 in the other semifinal.
