China defeated Pakistan in the semi-finals of the Asian Champions Trophy

In the semi-finals of the Asian Hockey Champions Trophy, China defeated Pakistan 2-0 on a shootout to qualify for the finals of the event for the first time in history.

In the semi-final of the ongoing event in China, Pakistan faced China and it was expected that the Pakistan team would win easily and make it to the final, but it could not happen.

Pakistan played very poorly in the match and missed many clear chances to score goals.
The match was tied at one apiece and Pakistan missed five penalty corners.

In the penalty shootout, Pakistan missed four penalties and China won the shootout 0-2.
Nadeem Ahmed scored Pakistan’s only goal in the match. China will face India in the final.
