Pakistan won Bronze in the ITF Wheelchair Tennis Event.
Pakistan beat Iran 2-1 in the bronze madel Race. and earned Bronze madal position for Pakistan in the BNP Paribas World Team Cup Wheelchair Tennis Asian Qualification Event at Colombo Sri Lanka today. Mr.Iqbal Issak president Sri Lanka Tennis Association was the Chief Guest.
Japan’s both male and female teams won the gold and qualified for World group event.
Muhammad Khalid Rehmani vp ptf said that it is the first time ever Pakistan reached at victory stand .and won bronze.
He thanked President Aisamul Haq . ITF Wheelchair department who are supporting Wheelchair Tennis in country and commanded past president PTF Mr.Salim Saifullah Khan who initiated Wheelchair Tennis in Pakistan in 2018.
He added that president PTF has planned to flourish Wheelchair Tennis more extensively in 2025 and adding more cities in the fold of wheelchair development Initiative and invite a foreign coach to train Pakistani coaches for wheelchair training capacity building. Pakistan Team comprises Asif Abbasi, Fida Hussain and Ihsanullah Khan and Muhammad Khalid Rehmani as Captain.
