Faizan, Aayan, Uzair Rana among winners on third day of Ravi Cup
Lahore: The Ravi Cup ATF Asian Junior Tour U-12 2026 continued with another competitive day of junior tennis at the Sports Board Punjab Tennis Academy, Nishtar Park Sports Complex, Lahore, on Wednesday.
The third day featured action in the boys’ and girls’ U-12 singles round-robin competitions, along with quarter-finals in the boys’ and girls’ doubles events.
In the boys’ singles, Muhammad Faizan defeated M Ibraheem Hussain Gill 6-3, 6-7, 10-5, while Muhammad Aayan overcame Muhammad Daniyal 6-3, 6-3.
Mustafa Uzair Rana registered a commanding 6-0, 6-0 victory over Wali M Hassaan, with Ibrahim Leghari defeating Fahad Mustafa 6-2, 6-4. Daniyal Abdullah also produced a dominant display, beating Riyan Omer Khalil 6-0, 6-0.
In the girls’ singles, Iman Monnoo beat Rahimeen Jazib 6-2, 6-4, while Shahnoor Umer defeated Wajeeha Fatima 6-0, 6-1. Shahreen Umer and Dua Qureshi also secured straight-set wins over Nurrya Awais and Umm-e-Aiman respectively.
The boys’ doubles quarter-finals saw M Ibraheem Hussain Gill/Muhammad Aayan, Mustafa Uzair Rana/Daniyal Abdullah, Behroze Maimoon Wander/Majid Ali Bachani and Ali Bukhari/Hashir Mustafa advance. In the girls’ doubles, Eman Shahbaz/Dua Qureshi and Wajeeha Fatima/Umm-e-Aiman progressed to the next round.
