HBL PSL 11 schedule revealed: Eight teams and new venues set for grand expansion

By Nawaz Gohar ; The Pakistan Cricket Board has officially announced the schedule for HBL PSL 11, featuring a record 44 matches to be played from March 26 to May 3.

For the first time in the league’s history, eight teams will compete for the title. Two new franchises, Hyderabad Kingsmen and Rawalpindi Pindiz, have been added to the league, promising a more competitive and expanded tournament.

The matches will be spread across six cities. In a historic move, Faisalabad and Peshawar will host HBL PSL matches for the very first time.

Lahore: Gaddafi Stadium will host the opening ceremony and the inaugural match. A total of 15 matches are scheduled for Lahore.

Rawalpindi: The Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will host 11 matches, including a high-stakes Qualifier.

Faisalabad: The city will debut as a host with 7 matches scheduled.

Peshawar: The newly developed Imran Khan Cricket Stadium will also make its debut as an HBL PSL venue.

Karachi: National Bank Stadium is set to host 6 matches.

Multan: Multan Cricket Stadium will host 4 matches, all of which will feature the home side, Multan Sultans.

Under the new 8-team format, each team will play 10 matches during the league stage. The tournament will feature 12 “double-headers” to accommodate the expanded fixture list. The high-octane Playoffs are scheduled to begin on April 28.

The media accreditation process for HBL PSL 11 has officially commenced. Journalists and media houses are advised that the deadline for applications is March 13.
