BREAKING: Abrar Ahmed Slips to No.2, Saim and Hasan Nawaz Storm Up ICC T20I Charts

Pakistan have seen some notable changes in the latest ICC T20I batting rankings, with Hasan Nawaz making the biggest move while Saim Ayub has also improved his position. The updated rankings were released after the recent Asian Games 2026 campaign in which several Pakistan players performed well and secured the prestigious silver medals.

Talking about the specifics, Sahibzada Farhan continues to hold third place in the batting rankings with 818 points after taking over as Pakistan’s T20I captain. India’s Ishan Kishan, meanwhile, remains at the top, followed by teammate Abhishek Sharma in second place.

Saim Ayub has also gone up to 38th position with 566 points, while Babar Azam has moved down four spots and now sits at 45th with 544 points.

Meanwhile, Hasan Nawaz has enjoyed a much bigger rise, jumping 62 places to reach 48th with 536 points. His strong performance in the Asian Games 2026 final played a key role in the rise, as he smashed 96 runs against India with the help of seven gigantic sixes.

There has also been a change at the top of the T20I bowling rankings. Pakistan’s Abrar Ahmed has moved down to second place with 718 points, allowing Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan to take back the number one spot. Australia’s Adam Zampa, meanwhile, continues to hold third place in the bowling rankings.

Notably, Mohammad Nawaz has also gone down from eighth to 12th place and now has 645 points. Besides him, Salman Mirza has also suffered a seven-place drop and is now ranked 23rd with 623 points.

Talking about the other Pakistan stars, Sufiyan Muqeem has stayed in the 50th position with 546 points. Saim Ayub, on the other hand, has improved his ranking and now sits at 62nd after moving up eight spots. Usman Tariq, meanwhile, has fallen to 63rd following a seven-place drop, while Shadab Khan is now ranked 77th after slipping two places on the chart.
