Rashid Naseem sets 25 World Records in a single year,
remains Pakistan’s No. 1 record holder in 2025
By Nawaz Gohar ; According to official data from the Guinness World Records website, Pakistan’s world-renowned athlete Rashid Naseem has successfully maintained his title as the country’s most prolific record breaker in 2025.
Statistics reveal that a total of 43 world records set by Pakistani athletes were inducted into the Guinness World Records in 2025. Out of these, 25 records were achieved by Rashid Naseem alone. Furthermore, 31 out of the 43 total records were secured by members of Rashid Naseem’s family.
During 2025, Rashid Naseem established multiple records across various categories, including skipping, nunchaku, marble tile breaking, boxing punches, and walnut cracking. In addition to Rashid, nine other athletes and one private company also contributed to Pakistan’s global tally.

Fatima Naseem (Daughter): 4 records
Saba Rashid (Wife): 1 record
Naseemuddin (Father, age 73): 1 record
This year, Rashid Naseem also represented Pakistan on the international stage by participating in world record and talent shows in Italy, Romania, and Spain.
Other athletes who brought pride to Pakistan include Irfan Mehsud (6 records) and Muhammad Arshad (2 records). Sufiyan, Wajahat, Shahzaib, Abdul Basit, and a private company each contributed one world record.
Notably, Rashid Naseem had more than 28 records approved in 2024 as well. Since the Guinness World Records approval process typically takes about three months, the results for several other athletes are still pending. This information is based on the official Guinness World Records database.
