FIBA Basketball for Good program concludes
ISLAMABAD, October 01: A Two-day coaching workshop under the umbrella of International Basketball Federation “FIBA Basketball for Good program” concluded on sunday attended by numbers of players and coaches.
The two-day workshop was organised under the supervision of Pakistan Basketball Federation (PBBF) Secretary General Khalid Bashir at Multan while Riaz Malik, the head coach of the national basketball team, along with other coaches Umer Mehmood, Saadat Jahangir, Muhammad Naveed give lectures and demonstration on coaching skills, training, modern techniques and basketball games in different sessions to the participants.
One of the most important aspects of this FIBA Basketball for Good program is helping participants to understand the relationship between a coach and the players.
At the end of the coaching workshop, certificates were distributed among the participants by Secretary General of Pakistan Basketball Federation Khalid Bashir along with Chief Executive of Lucky Beverages Chaudhry Sajjad Ali.
To improve the standard of basketball in the country, Pakistan Basketball Federation will conduct coaching workshops in various cities under the FIBA program.
