Karachi (Sports Reporter) Pakistan Sindh Team’s talented athletes Hanna Khan and Hajra Nawab delivered outstanding performances at the ongoing 8th World Taekwondo President’s Cup 2026 Asian Region in Lahore, winning two bronze medals for Pakistan.
The international event is being held from August 17 to 21 at the Jinnah Sports Complex, Lahore, with more than 870 athletes from 38 countries participating in various Taekwondo categories. In the competitions held on August 17, Hanna Khan and Hajra Nawab displayed impressive skills and secured third place in their respective categories to claim bronze medals.
Both athletes are students of Kamran Qamar Qureshi, President of the Sindh Taekwondo Association, who is also serving as the Head of Team of the Pakistan Sindh Team at the event.
The official Pakistan Sindh Team squad includes Female Coach Muneeza Akram, Manager Faseehuddin, Male Coach Abdul Rahim, and Female Head of Team Madam Majida Hameed. Khaldoon Raja and Khurram Rasheed are also representing Pakistan as referees at the championship.
