WAPDA Retains National Title with Champions Trophy Win at 55th National Men’s Gymnastics Championship
WAPDA successfully defended its national title by clinching the Champions Trophy at the 55th National Men’s Gymnastics Championship held in Karachi.
WAPDA gymnasts delivered a dominant performance throughout the event, topping the overall points table with a total of 13 medals: 7 Gold – including 1 Team, 5 Individual, and 1 Best Player award – 3 Silver, and 3 Bronze.
Pakistan Army finished as runners-up, while Pakistan Railways secured third position.
A total of seven teams participated in the championship. These included three departmental teams – WAPDA, Pakistan Army, Pakistan Police, and Pakistan Railways – along with provincial teams from Punjab, Sindh, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
WAPDA’s star gymnast, Muhammad Afzal, was declared ‘Best National Gymnast’ of the championship for his outstanding individual performance and technical excellence across all events.
