PCF coach Usman Khan represents Pakistan at UCI Para-Cycling Program in Thailand

As part of this commitment, PCF coach Mr. Usman Khan has arrived in Chiang Mai, Thailand, to attend a specialized Para-Cycling Coaching Course organized by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), scheduled from March 13 to March 22, 2026.
Representing Pakistan on the global stage, Mr. Khan’s participation in this UCI-certified program is a major milestone.
The training is designed to equip coaches with advanced technical knowledge and international-standard expertise specifically tailored to athletes with physical disabilities. This investment in human capital is a key pillar of the Federation’s mission to strengthen the domestic para-cycling ecosystem.
Para-cycling is a vital discipline that offers competitive opportunities to athletes with physical challenges, including those with limb loss or mobility limitations.
The PCF is actively building a framework to ensure these resilient individuals are provided with equal opportunities to showcase their talent in organized, professional sporting events. By securing international certification for its coaches, the Federation is laying the groundwork for a structured, sustainable development program.
Following the completion of the course, the PCF plans to utilize Mr. Khan’s expertise to identify and train aspiring para-cyclists from across the country. The initiative aims to reach both male and female athletes in every region, providing them with professional training and high-performance resources.
The ultimate objective is to prepare a formidable Pakistani contingent capable of competing not only in national championships but also in prestigious international para-cycling competitions.
