Pakistan Hockey Federation convenes crucial Congress meeting in Islamabad
By Nawaz Gohar : The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has officially convened a high-level meeting of its Congress, scheduled to take place on Friday, March 27, 2026, in the federal capital.
According to an official notice issued by the PHF, the session will be held at the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) premises in Islamabad at 10:30 AM. The meeting has been called in accordance with the provisions of Articles 12.10 and 12.10.3 of the Federation’s 2010 Constitution.
The formal agenda has already been dispatched to all members, outlining the critical administrative and organizational matters to be discussed. The PHF has urged all esteemed Congress members to ensure their participation in this pivotal session.
Sources indicate that the invitations were issued by Captain (Retd) Farrukh Atiq Khan, acting on the directives of PHF President Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani and Secretary General Syed Shakeel Shah.
The session is expected to feature detailed consultations regarding the national hockey organizational structure and future strategic roadmaps. The leadership aims to take the Congress members into confidence on several key initiatives aimed at reviving the sport in the country.
