Inamullah, a young athlete from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has achieved the remarkable feat of becoming Pakistan’s first Global Taekwondo black belt holder under the Pakistan Global Taekwondo Federation (PGTF).
The milestone was celebrated in a prestigious ceremony at the Hayatabad Sports Complex in Peshawar, where Masood Afridi, the Secretary General of PGTF, awarded Inamullah with the coveted black belt and license card. The event highlighted Inamullah’s dedication and hard work in mastering this martial art.
Speaking at the ceremony, Masood Afridi praised Inamullah’s extraordinary talent and perseverance. “Inamullah is a gifted and hardworking athlete who has earned his place through sheer determination.
The performance he displayed during the belt promotion test was exceptional,” said Afridi. He further noted that the Global Taekwondo belt promotion tests are known for their rigorous standards, but Inamullah successfully passed with flying colors, proving his mettle.
During a conversation with journalists, Inamullah shared his inspiring journey. Initially drawn to cricket and volleyball, he was influenced by the physical fitness of local martial artists in his native district of Khyber.
This inspired him to pursue martial arts, beginning with Kyokushin Kai Karate. When Global Taekwondo was introduced in Pakistan, Inamullah decided to explore this discipline and began his training.
Under the expert guidance of Masood Afridi, a qualified coach and PGTF’s Secretary General, Inamullah honed his skills at the Hayatabad Sports Complex.
He credited his success to divine blessings and the mentorship of his coach. “It is through Allah’s grace and my coach’s guidance that I have achieved this honor of becoming Pakistan’s first Global Taekwondo black belt holder,” he stated.
Inamullah’s achievement marks a significant milestone for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the country, setting a new standard for aspiring martial artists.
