IoBM Secures First Position in Both Boys’ and Girls’ Categories, Iqra University (Boys) and Bahria University (Girls) Finish as Runners-up, Ibrahim Hussain.

Karachi (Sports Reporter) The Institute of Business Management (IoBM) dominated the badminton event of the second Denning Sports Festival, organized by Denning Sports Society in collaboration with Denning Sports Department. IoBM clinched the title in both the boys’ and girls’ categories.
The event saw the enthusiastic participation of 16 universities from Karachi. According to Denning University’s Regional Sports Coordinator, Kashif Ahmed Farooqui, the boys’ and girls’ badminton matches were held at the Sindh Sports Board’s Badminton Hall.
The event was officially inaugurated by the chief guest, Prof. Naveed Ahmed Hashmi, Principal of Government for men College. Other notable attendees included Sindh Olympic Association Secretary General Ahmed Ali Rajput, Denning Sports Society President Zehra Mazhar,
Sindh Fencing Association Secretary Muhammad Taqi, along with Professor Ghori khan, Azeem-ul-Shan, Tahseen Ahmed, Muhammad Wasim, Mazhar Channa, Muhammad Talha, Hassan Irfan, and sports journalists Asghar Azeem, Shakeel Yamin Kanga, Shehzada Moeen,
Umar Shaheen, Muhammad Hammad, Waseem Qureshi, Arshad Wahab, Rehan Akram, Shehzad Qadir, Junaid Rajput, Muhammad Nadeem Siddiqui, Adnan Siddiqui, and others.
Chief guest Prof.Naveed Ahmed Hashmi emphasized that in the past, talented athletes emerged from colleges and universities, and he was highly impressed with the performance of the players in this event.
He congratulated Regional Sports Coordinator Kashif Ahmed Farooqui, his team, and the Denning University administration for successfully organizing a university -level sports festival. In the boys’ badminton competition, IoBM secured first place, Iqra University finished second, and FAST University claimed third. In the girls’ category,
IoBM emerged victorious again, with Bahria University securing second place and Iqra University taking third.
The technical officials for the event included Muhammad Nasir, Damir Ahmed, Shayan Khan, Sunil Hussain,
Muhammad Aman, and Azeem. The Denning Sports Festival was sponsored by Master Face Mask, MT Merchani Travels, Temla, Al-Ghani Motors, Saad Heights, MMY Associates, Elevator ES, Fay Company, Just Drive, Maidan,
Afshan Kanwal, and Quice. The second Denning Sports Festival features seven sports: badminton, table tennis, cricket, futsal, rowing, basketball, and throwball.
