Peshawar defeats Charsadda kabadhi team

PESHAWAR: The district Peshawar kabadhi team smashed district Charsadda kabadhi team by 3 points in the first match of inter-district kabadhi tournament.

Peshawar team got 30 points and its opponent Charsadda scored 27 points of the tournament played at Shabqadar kabadhi ground.

Sultan Barri, general secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Kabadhi Association and international referee was cheif guest on the occasion said that inter club and inter-district kabadhi competitions had started across the province aimed at promoting the game and to find out the talent from grassroot level. He expressed hope that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would become hub of kabadhi game and find the talented players who would compete at international level. Charsadda, Mardan and Peshawar kabadhi teams are the part of ongoing inter-district kabadhi tournament being played at Akhun Zafar Baba, Shabqadar, district Charsadda.
